Bump, set, spike, three nights a week. UQIC runs mixed social volleyball at UQ St Lucia across indoor and beach. Indoor plays Tuesday and Saturday, and beach volleyball hits the sand on Wednesday nights. Come with a team or sign up solo and we will find you one.

Formats

Indoor is 6-a-side at the UQ Centre, Connell Gym and the UQ Gymnasium. Beach is 6-a-side on sand at the UQ Beach Volleyball Courts. All mixed, social rules, all abilities welcome. See team rules.

Season

Semester 2 starts in Week 2, from 3 August 2026, and runs a full season including finals. Finals run across Weeks 9 and 10, with larger sports adding quarter-finals from Week 8.

How it works

Register solo or with friends under your faculty, society or college. Add the same team name as your mates to be placed together, otherwise we will allocate you a team and email it before Week 2.
