UQIC runs mixed social touch football and touch rugby league at UQ St Lucia. Touch football is 6-a-side on Field 8 across Monday, Friday and Sunday, and touch rugby league is 7-a-side on Thursday nights. Grab a team or sign up solo and we will place you.

Formats

Touch football is 6-a-side, non-contact, on UQ Field 8. Touch rugby league is 7-a-side on Fields 1 and 2. Both mixed, social rules, all abilities welcome. Men's rugby union is not running in Semester 2. See team rules.

Season

Semester 2 starts in Week 2, from 3 August 2026, and runs a full season including finals. Finals run across Weeks 9 and 10, with larger sports adding quarter-finals from Week 8.

How it works

Register solo or with friends under your faculty, society or college. Add the same team name as your mates to be placed together, otherwise we will allocate you a team and email it before Week 2.
