UQIC runs mixed social basketball at UQ. Monday nights are 5-a-side on the UQ multi-courts, and Saturdays are 5-a-side indoors at the UQ Centre. Come with a team or sign up solo and we will find you one.

Formats

5-a-side, mixed, social rules, all abilities welcome. Monday is on the outdoor multi-courts, Saturday is indoors at the UQ Centre. See team rules.

Season

Semester 2 starts in Week 2, from 3 August 2026, and runs a full season including finals. Finals run across Weeks 9 and 10, with larger sports adding quarter-finals from Week 8.

How it works

Register solo or with friends under your faculty, society or college. Add the same team name as your mates to be placed together, otherwise we will allocate you a team and email it before Week 2.
