The UQIC Club Support Initiative is a practitioner-grade program of governance, advisory, and capacity-building support for UQ clubs. We bring operational experience from running student sport at scale, deep governance expertise, and the institutional independence of a separately incorporated Queensland association. All services are free for UQU-affiliated clubs and societies.
All UQU-affiliated clubs access UQIC’s services free. Not affiliated with UQU? Become a UQIC partner club to access the full program.

Free Workshops for C&S Clubs
UQIC runs two practical workshops each semester, open to all UQ club executives and UQIC partner clubs. No experience required, just show up.
Build a Better Club Website
A hands-on workshop walking club executives through rebuilding or improving their club website from scratch. Covers platform selection (Squarespace, Wix, Google Sites), layout best practices, what content clubs actually need, and how to keep it updated without a dedicated tech person. Participants leave with a clear plan and a working draft.
AI Tools for Club Execs
A practical, jargon-free workshop showing club executives how to use AI tools to save time on the most common club admin tasks: drafting communications, writing grant applications, creating social media content, summarising meeting minutes, and building basic financial models. Covers free tools available right now with no technical setup required.
Connect with a Mentor
Browse our mentor directory and reach out directly. Every mentor has a UQIC email address, just send them a message with your question. Filter by area of expertise to find the right person.
