UQIC Clubs & Societies Initiative

Support built for UQ clubs, by UQ students.

Free mentorship, governance advice, event support, and more. Delivered by UQIC in partnership with the student community, for any UQ club.

The UQIC Club Support Initiative is a practitioner-grade program of governance, advisory, and capacity-building support for UQ clubs. We bring operational experience from running student sport at scale, deep governance expertise, and the institutional independence of a separately incorporated Queensland association. All services are free for UQU-affiliated clubs and societies.

All UQU-affiliated clubs access UQIC’s services free. Not affiliated with UQU? Become a UQIC partner club to access the full program.

A practical, jargon-free workshop showing club executives how to use AI tools to save time on the most common club admin tasks: drafting communications, writing grant applications, creating social media content, summarising meeting minutes, and building basic financial models. Covers free tools available right now with no technical setup required.
